more P-40 action

Due to the overwhelming response to my last film post  ;), I thought everyone would appreciate one more.
This one is only 2 minutes long so I think you can stay awake. I know 4 minutes was too long for the ADD crowd.

Hot off the presses. Recorded this afternoon:

                       P-40E    vs     P-51D

P.S.  A friendly typhoon tries to pick my opponent during the fight but I'm not sure he impacts the contest.

Haven't watched it yet but I assume the pony is me. If it is, no the typh didn't effect the fight. I knew it was just a matter of time before that P-40 turned on the inside of me anyway, was fun!  :salute


edit: yup was me...I always like seeing people jumping out of the Uber rides once in a while and getting into something different. That's why I turned with ya instead of just BnZing you to death. After that fight I was saying..."dang, wish I had my 38 for that one" That would be a good film opportunity if you wanted to take me up on it somtime.

Watch your mouth portugal!  :lol

Thank you for not BnZ-ing me to death.  :D  That's how most 51 drivers operate and it makes me wanna auger on purpose.
That was a fun fight and I'm glad you stuck it out.  I think things would've been much different (and much shorter) if you were in a P-38.  :salute

But I'm game anytime. I only fly 15 and up ENY planes and used to dying more often than not.  I really dig the P-40 and it's my main ride of late.
A lot of people have underestimated it.  I had an F4U-4 actually run from me yesterday.  :rofl

Yup I noticed you're always in a high ENY plane...really is nice to see.

Regarding the -4 running...i'm not surprised lol  :rofl
I upped a Boston one time and started dogfighting with a 109...he took off running after a few turns.

Speaking of planes running from bombers....had a spit16 run from my D3a today, but still managed to kill him  :lol 9 perkies for that kill :aok

I love this plane!  I got in a good scrap with a Spit 16 last night.  This guy actually fought instead of flying in a luftberry.  :salute
I took a few t-bone shots that are borderline "front quarter" (well, the first one is a front quarter :t) but I have relaxed rules for fighting spixteens.   :D

Thank you wrongway and rogent. Those were both fun fights and I am surprised how uber the P-40 really is.   :D
