Saitek X52 and DX buttons
« on: March 21, 2009, 11:37:35 AM »
If you dont like the Saitek software and want a work around its useful to know that when the windows game controller panel is left open showing the X52 pro buttons then all the buttons and rollers can be seen as DX buttons by AH.

and I mean all of them.On the MFD you have full functionality from the pg up pg down and the start/stop and reset as well as the MFD select roller and wheel. Thats  8 functions on the MFD alone. The mode wheel becomes three buttons (leave the middle one blank and use the other two for bomb sight setting)

The clutch button also gets a DX button number as well as the mouse wheel and switch. Infact the only thing I cannot get AH to see this way is the mouse toggle on the throttle.

AH cant see most of the MFD stuff if the game controller panel is closed even if the Saitek software has it configured appropriatly.

I dont know what the pay off is in terms of system usagewhen it is configured this way. Saitek stuff is off and the game controller panel is left on.
