Uhh, what's being said is that the current system in AH is actually incorrect in regard to how the real Fw 190 guns worked.

The new and "correct" way would be:

F(button 1): cowl MG + inner cannon together
B(button 2): outer cannon/ordinance
N(button 3): all weapons

So you gain one advantage(firing MG FF or MK 108 seperately to inner cannon) but also gain a disadvantage(cowl MG and inner cannon always fire together).

Question: How did the other planes in AH work? Could the P-47D fire only 4 guns at a time? How about the Spitfire? Etc...

The only comment I have seen personally, was in the 'Great Book Book of World War Two Fighters', where, for the P-38, they apparently had seperate switchs for the mgs and cannon. However, the one of the pilots in the article stated that he had his mechanic rewire it so that when he squeezed the primary trigger everything fired. He said he wanted to know that everything was going out the front when he squeezed the trigger   . We can do that now in AH.

In regards to all the comments on the Fw-190, what was the Doras standard configuration for it's weapons? I mean most of them only had the two cowl MG's and the two inner (Wing root) cannons. Maybe those birds were wired with mgs only as primary and cannons only on the secondary? I'll look and see if my Kurt Tank book has any info on that. I can't wait to test fly that Ta-152H!!
Bring on the 35k B-17s now...Muhahahaha.

 http://www.bancaero.it/ing/frame2.htm

AFAIK they have manuals for the following a/c: Macchi C.205V, Fiat G.55 "Centauro", Reggiane Re.2000 "Falco" and Re.2001 "Ariete", Ju87 Stuka, FW190A-8 and some '50 jet I dont remember (maybe the F86).
Let me know if I can help you.
