The only comment I have seen personally, was in the 'Great Book Book of World War Two Fighters', where, for the P-38, they apparently had seperate switchs for the mgs and cannon. However, the one of the pilots in the article stated that he had his mechanic rewire it so that when he squeezed the primary trigger everything fired. He said he wanted to know that everything was going out the front when he squeezed the trigger

In regards to all the comments on the Fw-190, what was the Doras standard configuration for it's weapons? I mean most of them only had the two cowl MG's and the two inner (Wing root) cannons. Maybe those birds were wired with mgs only as primary and cannons only on the secondary? I'll look and see if my Kurt Tank book has any info on that. I can't wait to test fly that Ta-152H!!
