Ill say it again, while 200 is a bad place to hang out, at LEAST it keeps most smack tards from flooding local/country chat.


In that i am greatfull.


What do you need when the road gets rained on by people's almost constant bull crap, a gutter, 200 is that gutter.

Sincraft, why would you force everyone to do without it because you don't see the point?

Its a choice, choice is always good. Thats why it was switched away from Channel 1 as that was locked on couldn't be turned off, hence no choice.

Like it or not some days channel 200 is worth the price of AH all by itself.
Other days not so much, but its a tool like many others. Use it or not, your choice, but please don't take my choices away from me.

people...including yourself has the option of turning channel 200 off. its easy as this...you dont like the channel..then change it. if your not tuned to it in any of the text boxes then you wont see what is being said on it. i personally enjoy channel 200 because its fun to chat with people on the other sides.

Ok, How many People Read The Title and Didn't Bother to read what He had to say? it seems almost Everyone Didn't Read It and Jumped To the conclusion He has it on and Wants It Gone, which Yeah Obvious Answer would seem- De-tune it .

I Do Have To agree with Most that it's Pretty Useless Request,  (Honestly I don't like it But I have never mentioned It In a Request On the forums, Only In-game. Mostly Directly asking the people Babbling on If I Find the argument, Fight or whatever has no More Reason to it and Seems like people Just want to see their own name Come up To stop, I only ever Do this In Midwar, I don't Really Talk 200 on Latewar *only to salute* Because I Rarely Really Get responses.)

However, even if you Remove All chats I'm sure people will Do the Mic/and PM attacks a lot more Which wouldn't Solve the annoyance Which It seems Is Worse ( Never had anyone Vox/PM Attack me ) From others perspective.

But aside from that its also Useless IMO because you Don't have to listen To your fellow teammates and you can squelch everyone (I think... Am I right?) On every team at any time? but That's Going To far I think You Might Just miss that Check 6 call that saves your rear From that Lucky-Shot 1 Winged spiraling Aircraft that has 2 Friendlies on it.

Also- You can't Tell People To De-Tune 200 and expect them All to comply.

I Think There really Should Be a Personal Filter For whatever text Comes Up that you have enabled To Block For it to not become Visible, But really At the moment I think Ignoring Is the best strategy. And Yeah, 200 Is amusing at moments  :lol

200 is a MUST for community cohesion.  

Imagine how extremely dull it would be not being able to have a friendly chat with your adversaries.

If people are logging because of channel 200, they need to turn it off, which is their option.
Just for the record I did go back and reread the original post.  And I still disagree.

In some cases new guys get handed an earfull on 200, mostly they tend to have it coming.
And in many cases, do you really care if an 11 yr old with only a mouse sticks around?

They come here, expecting to walk and talk tall, and get slapped upside the head. Yeah life sucks.

Come into AH with some respect and consideration, talk little, listen to all that is said and you'll adapt pretty well in a month or 2. So call it AH's built in maturity filter. But don't take the channel away because some can't handle it.
