ow and one more question how hard is it to share rails? ? ? ? i have never had to do this before. i always bought a 700Watt with triple rail +12v with 40A at lest thats what i was told to trust as a perm. PSU salute and thanks for all the help so far gents

75% efficiency?  That supply is going to crank out some heat and cost you more than a more efficient supply would.

Let me show you what I mean by using some arbitrary numbers.

If the load on the supply is 300W. 

At 75% efficiency the supply use 375W from the wall. 
At 82% efficient will use 354W from the wall.

The extra power the lower efficiency power supply uses is converted to heat, thus heating up your environment more.

I'm not a fan of Corsair power sups.  At that point you would be better with the 610

IIRC, Corsair's are made by Seasonic.  They're excellent quality PSU's.

As long as the PSU has a PCIe connector you don't have to do anything except plug it in.
