I think that the only possibly valid jet and rocket units are:

Ar234A (in AH already)
He162A Salamander
Me163 Komet
Me262A Schwalbe
Ohka-11 (I'm not sure we really want to encourage this sort of thing though)
Meteor F.MkIII (Staga's second link incorrectly matches the performance of the MkI and MkIII)
P-80 Shooting Star,

No He162 and certainly no Korean war USA jets......

Right or wrong:
First 15 Meteor Mk III planes got similar engine as Mk I but later models got engines with more power but engines weight was also bigger and 'cause that reason Gloster had to add more ballast to plane.
Also Gloster did limit its manoeuvrability with ailerons which needed more power to use so pilots wouldn't broke planes wings. This was not issue in MkI.

Anyway only jet which was made in numbers was Me-262.

I don't want any jets, but it is inevitable that we will get them, unfortunately. The question was, which can be considered valid. I posted a response to that, giving my list of the only jet and rocket aircraft that can in any way be considered WWII aircraft.

That wasn't my endorsement for them.

Karnak you know how the Ohka worked? It had to be carried near to it's target by a modified Betty. I think it would be heaps of fun if they were available as an expensive perk unit.

Also V-1's launched from a He 111.

Yup. I am quite aware of delivery method.

Getting an Ohka to launch range would be the tough part.

I still don't know if it is a good idea to encourage kamikaze type behavior.

Didnt the Japanese have their own Me262 ? Called "Kikka" ?

It flew, but never saw combat. Would be fun hehe.

LOL on the BAKA, I watched several US planes do suicide runs on a CV last night(in fact it is a comon occurance.
It would be interesting to see who would "pay" for the privalage of killing theamselves for a cv. The BAKA could also be launched from a rail on shore, we dont nead no stinking shore batries we have the BAKA!

Why no He 162?, it would be better than a Me 262, and it did see action.Capt, Eric Brown said it was the best gun platform out of all the German Jets.

Im against the He162 for exactly the same reason im against having P80, F8F, F7F, Do335, P51H, Vampire, or any other hot fantasy plane people always ask for.

I dont want AH to become a freakshow of completly irrelevant, insignificant, or non WW2 planes.

This is why I hated that POS CHOG so much for being the most used plane in the game. Its complewtly irrelevant in the war.

I even oppose the unperking of the useless Ta152H1 because I dont wanna see them every day.

Kikka is NOT a Japanse built Me262 copy.

Kikka was a bomber/attack plane that was much slower than the Me262.

It only resembles the Me262 in the engine layout.

The Meteor and Me-262 would be the only jets I'd be interested in seeing. Both saw service in numbers with the Meteor entering service before the Me-262.

Well I see your point GRUNHERZ, I dont think the Ta 152 should be unperked either. I agree that the Me 262 defentaly had a biger impact than those 2 or 3 He 162 squadrons did having only flown a handfull of combat mishions compared to those that were flown by the Me 262. My only point was that the He 162 would be an easer fighter plane to use than the Me 262 ( handeling wise)
I certainly dont want to see planes that saw no combat at all added, P51H, F7F, ect...

I gues the line must be drawn somewhear, and as far as I know it is wheather or not It saw combat.I also suspect that the shear popularity of the Me 262 would grant it inclushion before(or instead of) the He 162, that being the primary deschion maker in this case(same goes for the Metour).
