I've been loving the Yak9U. Despite all the fun I was having, I was getting swiss-chessed by everything while in the P38, and can't seem to get a handle on the strengths ans weaknesses of some of the other fighters. The YAK9U seems to have the perfect combination of characteristics for my tastes.... and great visibility out of the cockpit to boot. I'm still working on my shot, so the lack of rounds for the guns is tough (I've rtb bingo ammo quite often, a couple of times last night had a bogey lined up right on the nose at less than 200 to pull the trigger and have nothing happen!!).
I've found, right now, it's the only plane my inferior skillz can furball in and not get murderized right away.
And if it can get me back to base trailing smoke with oil all over the windscreen, one aileron, no rudder, and half an elevator like it did once last night, that's my kinda bird!
