You can clearly see in the picture below that the last version of the P-40N had a 105mm muliti barrel chain gun that fired 3,000rds per minute.

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT? Is that GI-Joe? I never saw that type before, but clearly it is a GI-Joe sized action figure. Is that new or an old collectable?

Looks like the famous Sgt Savage GI Joe P-40 to me    We actually had this one for a while (the joys of parenthood--much cooler toys nowadays).  Sadly, it has gone to the big Salvation Army in the sky, along with the Millenium Falcon, the X-wing, the TIE fighter, and a lot of other cool stuff I told him to keep but he "had to" get rid of to make room for more Lego things which will, in ten years, just be old Lego things just like the ones at the WalMart.

P.S. if bollilo turns his Perfect Flight Model Detector Evil Eye on the AH FM, you can be very afraid...

that P-40 for GI Joe is about 6 or 7 years old. I still have the one my kid played with. I remember buying it x-mas 1995.

Sgt. Savage was a series that came out @ 94-95 that was supposed to replace the GI Joe minature series. I remember being slightly depressed because I used to collect the small size, but the new figures they were coming out with were so freaky I was kind of glad.

The Sgt Sav. figures 2 were bigger then the
3 3/4 inch figures, with WWII weapons (there were like 12 figures, 2 were the "Cobra" equivilant, cyborg SS troops and some kinda robot docter) They made the P-40, and a Jeep.

The series never caught on, and Hasbro dropped GI Joe entirely. Recently, they started to sell the 12" figures again. Most of the 12" molds were sold off to knock-off action figure companies, so they have entirely new body molds now. The 3 3/4 inch size was sold off to some other company that went bankrupt, but still owns the rights.

There was a 22min movie that came with the original Sgt. Savage figure, that explained the whole story line. They also did a 12" figure.

LOL!!!!! Man what a jabo that is. I had no idea the full weapons package for the P-40 included those. Thanks for the historical info. I bet the German tank commanders were very worried about seeing those.
