For porking...

What would you rather use with the 190F8...the 12 PB1 rockets, or the 4 50kg bombs? Assuming you would already have a 500kilo on the rack.

I'm kind of getting bored with the game, so I figured why not try different porking planes and see which one suits each role.

I like the 190A8 for porking.  And I do the manly way....no ords.

rockets for shure.... you can hit the ack from 2k or more out (helps you live longer) bombs are harder to master but you can also take more ack out with 12 rockets.... 12 ack Vs 4 with the bombs

by my understanding yes, but if you get close to an ack with one of them it still kills it

P-39Q is best for De-acking. Good for low alt, you take 2 .50s and the 37mm, and you can make 2k+ shots on the acks, hit just near 'em, and they're dead.

The 12 Rockets do almost 3 times the damage in lb of ordnance ad the bombs for less than half the weight.
Plus, the empty rocket racks are less draggy and also lighter. It's a no brainer really.

However, as it has been pointed out, the A8 with 30 mm has more pork power.

Rockets. Me and my squad get bored sometimes and deack and vultch a field in F8's.

Can't beat the pumpkin chucker on the 25H for deacking. You can pick off manned guns before they can shoot back.

I really dig the F8 with 12 rockets for de-acking a field.  That said, I would bring an A8 to pork before I brought the F8.  But really, the P-51 with two 1000lb bombs and 6 rockets is probably as good as it gets in terms of porking.  It's easy to pork a medium base in one pass with that thing.

Bombs. Rockets need a salvo of 3-4 to knock out a Ords bunker ( i believe ). The bombs allow for more accurate porking if you're hitting a dar/ords/etc. If you're rolling in on ack, just use the guns. More effective than the rockets IMO.


You should take the Ju88 for gv busting. Single shipp, 50% internal, 4x250KG bombs. Nothing better than pissing off a tanker historically.

I just got 6 kills today with the 88 doing this, the only difference is that, when I do it, I take the 500 kg bombs just for more hitting power, and a larger radius for error. The climb difference isn't that much either.
