You're getting flamed for this Penguin, yes, but it's nothing against you. Many others before you have got flamed for this sort of request before.
It's a gameplay thing. This is not the type of game for what you've asked. There are many many RPG's out there that simulate the type of world you are requesting. This is not an RPG. And I'm glad of it...they have their place in gaming, and that market is oversaturated already.
Before we could even come close to what you are asking, we would first need player control independent of aircraft/vehicle. And then, truly think about what you are asking. You want a realistic world where the pilot or tanker can go into houses, and eat? Or drive a tank up to a house and go inside and plan missions? You do realize I hope that anything AH implements like this would be done extremely poorly compared to other games that have had features like this for years. Why would anyone interested in a "virtual world" play this game when other games would have vastly superior virtual worlds?
My prediction is that you're soon going to find that Aces High is not the game for you. And that's fine. It just comes down to the "culture of essentialism" in this game; AH provides the essentials of air, ground, and naval combat with no frills in gameplay, role playing, or graphics. It's great for what it does, and great for those interested especially in air combat, but don't expect too much. There are other games for that.
