Horizontal "level" in ...
« on: March 30, 2009, 07:19:40 PM »
We need a horizontal "level" or pitch gauge :huh  (you know, the thingy that tells ya if your going up/down hill on slant/level ground) in the Wirbles and Osti's.  :O Its very deceiving at times to tell how your vehicle is pitching.

I know the easiest way to tell is if you can't move forward in any gear but 1st, you're climbing and in Neutral, your haulin' tail means you going down hill.

A gauge would be nice.  :pray

Was this not historically accurate? Or was the omission of said gauge in said vehicles accidental?

Nope don't see one on right or left. :huh

Already there.
You sure? still don't see it, got one in my Tiger, Panzer, T34's, Sherman etc. But don't see one anywhere in my Osti or Wirble. I'll go Triple check, but pretty sure not in those two GV's.  :uhoh

:furious  Well, I triple and quadruple checked and found that not only the Wirble and Osti missing the "inclino-meter", so is the Jeep (like it needs one anyways) and the Sdkfz 251 (which it really should have one I think.)  :)

So If HTC could put in their little bag of upcoming updates, that would be great. :aok

If necessary, I have screen shots of the inside control panel from the Osti (which is identical to the Wirble btw) to show, there is no "inclino-meter" in there anywhere.

I'm sorry, did you REALLY just say "we need an artificial horizon" in aircraft?  Hopefully I misread that wonderfully cryptic post.
