M4 Sherman
« on: March 31, 2009, 09:53:02 PM »
I'm not asking for the DD version, I'm asking for the U.S.A. workhorse, the original M4 Sherman. I'd like it, although it get owned by almost anything, it make a nice addition whether its used for MA, special events or etc.

The fact is that this "wish" is quite easy to fulfill since all it requires is a shorter barrel on the firefly, and T-34 ballistics for the gun  :lol

This is actually what I was thinking.  The hitting power of a T34/76 with the armor of a panzer.  And slower than a T34 too.  The worst of both worlds.

I wouldn't mind driving it. I don't know about fighting with it though.  :D
It still make a great addition for the special events.

But, with a higher rate of fire than the T-34 (which you would want with the poor balistics, yes?) and a .50cal pintle for pretending you can shoot down aircraft . . . and hopefully less bounce and recoil effect on the main gun to account for the gyrostabilizer.

I'd like to see it to, sence AH realy dosen't have an all american tank. The fierfly is a british adaption.
Six .50 cals is all you need.
But cannons are nice.

I compliment you on your knowledge of the Firefly, but I have to deduct points for the spelling.  :D

Did the Firefly have the gyro stabilizer like the normal M4?  If so, shouldn't AH turn off the bounce for the Firefly so it can fire accurately while moving?

All our tanks are already uncanningly accurate when firing on the move...
