TrackIR and Films
« on: April 01, 2009, 02:05:06 PM »
Is there some way of restoring head movements to a film that was recorded using TrackIR rather than view keys?  I understand that you can use FRAPS or Gunsite to record your head movements as you make them, but this is a film that I had already recorded.  I'm beginning to think that the film doesn't save your point of view when you're using TIR and so it's just completely gone when done that way.  Any imput, even if it's a negative answer would be appreciated.

Nope, not in a film.  The only way is to live record while you're in game flying using Fraps.
In game callsign: not currently flying
Flying off and on since Warbirds

Well, poop!

I had begun to suspect as much however.  That would be a great thing for them to add.  Assuming, of course that it's even possible.

You can use the 'Set up camera shots' button to create shots that look like your using trackIR.  It can take several shots though, if you view the Blitzkrieg film i did you can see what the shots look like afterwards...
