We need a modern day JET plane!!!

In my opion i get bored with all these long flights with the prop planes. I know the 262 is very fast but it doesnt have enough fuel in my opion...what we really need is a super fast jet plane lol. That would be flipping awesome. It should cost about 500-1000 perkys. plz plz plz plz

Especially if you learn how back off the throttle a bit and cruise.  I've used a 262 to scout for a CV 5 sectors from where I took off from and returned to the same base to land, without running out of gas.

Same, same with a AR-234. And with its F3 view? Its speed, range, and area it can cover? 1st rate scout planes over water. For prop planes I nominate the KI-67s. Great range and speed to , at least find, CVs.

there is a list of criteria that has been established to get a plane in AH and I am pretty sure (99.99999%sure) that none of the modern day fighters fit those criteria.

I am sure someone here knows where that list is as my searching has not turn the list up though I know I have seen it around before.

I do think it includes:

must have seen combat during WWII

must have been at a certain unit strength as well

and maybe a few others

someone will be along with the actual list soon but I am sure no modern jet fighter meets even the above 2 i mentioned

1 more thing, at what alt do you fly your 262? My hard deck is 10K, my average 262 alt is between 15 and 20K. You do know that jet engine become much more fuel efficient at high altitudes. Try taking off on a 262, go full throttle look at your E6B, for example it says you have 20min of fuel left, climb to 10K it will say you have 40min of fuel left. I mean literally, jet engine have a huge differents in amount of fuel burned at different altitude.

yes that is lol, but I take it only if there is something to shot at up there, usually find some bombers

2 often I get a chase to kill a 262 when he is just cruising around at 5-10K or even trying to kill someone. If you have energy, 262s are easy kills.
