Obviously you should have access to F3 view to keep track of all your vehicle drones, and training one weapon should automatically train the others, for instance, pinging away with your pintle gun at something  should also cause the flak's turret and main-gun to train on the same target and fire.

I'd rather like to choose "player drones". When I am in a tank, I'd like a Dr7 drone. We each fire at the same target, I can choose which shot counts.

Fighting on the deck and getting swarmed 1v8? LTAR drone in an osti spawns beneath me to help with the odds.
