Geez give us a break Spikes!  Why is every frigging thing that happens in this game that is bad is blamed on a "Mega-Squad"?  Try looking in the mirror and see what is wrong and take some personal responsibility for your actions and you might get along fine.  I belong to a "mega-Squad" and have never been muted and I've been here a long time but I don't participate in the ch 200 squabbles either.  I do however slip on country but I try to moderate myself so I won't need an outside moderator to moderate my conduct.  Think about it, it's a personal responsibility kinda thing.

I seriously doubt it was the word 'tard' that got him muted.  Like Murdr pointed out, 99.99% of the time the victim is not really the innocent party he tried to make himself to be on the forums.

Anyone who has seen MrMeanie's behavior knows who is at fault and who isn't.

As I have experienced it, muting qualifications vary from day to day. Someone even has added in a list of some Finnish cursewords and monitors even our Squad Channel. If someone types s*it or f*ck or something else like that in any language after ending into an unpleasant situation due to own mistakes, it is not offending, it is informative to fellow gamemates. Every now and then we type some of the known Finnish baddies on Squad Channel to check if it were muting day again. Time isn't money anymore, if in a game with several thousands of players someone wants to monitor a linguistical minority of some 30 people on their local channel! Who pays for the mods? I hope it's not included in our monthly fee...

actually, I think many over react to someone typing "tard" or "dweeb" on 200....some just get really worked up over nothing....I mean it doesn't phase me at all if someone wants to call me a dweeb....why would it?   Say, a dweeb flies into a 5 vs 1 and HO's me while Im fighting his 5 buddies...apparently a very dweeby move, twitish even....but if I just type, "dweeb" or "HO tard" on 200, some go into a raging fit about it.....why?.....does my humble opinion really matter that much?  I mean they did fly into a 5 vs 1 and HO someone, what do they think they deserve....a salute?....or a "way to steal a kill"  slap on the back?

YGBSM  goes into orgiastic spasms. I'm confident he absolutely convulses at his computer every time you type on 200. For all I know he's a nice guy but his obsession with you is like watching some horrible scene in a movie that is  utterly sickening but too fascinating to turn away from. I cringe when he froths,  yet I am also entertained.

There are expressions of frustration that are not intended for the wife's ears, but are quite correct between slightly drunk elderly gentlemen sharing a virtual war experience. Plus a typed expression of 'duh' doesn't disturb those who may be giving and getting orders in the middle of a fight.

Your squaddie, Belial, recommended turning off 200 in a post he made last month as well.  Funny, you guys do a lot of jibberjaberring on 200, yet twice I'm aware of have come in here complaining about it. 

Maybe you all could get counseling for 200 abuse at a discounted rate since a few of you need it.
