I think that perhaps each theme is limited in use of craft.  I think most of us got used to playin gwith a full arsenal of aircraft so getting people to go from a full menu to a kids menu is a problem.

Throw that man a fish.  This is the fundamental population restriction on all AvA arenas.

its a good fun arena, the number are low and the aircraft are limited. if you want to learn acm thats the place. there alot of good people in there, and a few less "experienced" ones. tactics can be different at times. civility is encouraged although it doest happen all the time. give it a try.
   
  a certain group has been refraining from going in there, so that those nay-sayers you see above, can enjoy the place too. not that they will stay out forever, just limiting time there.

  if you want to have fun and try something different, try the AVA. half the fun is learning to fly planes you're not used to. this makes it that much more interesting. just remember the real pilots in WW2 didnt have the luxury of flying what they wanted. they were assigned to a plane and had to learn to survive. this is what makes the AVA fun!

There was a good run of time with 15+ people on weeknights but I have seen it empty most of the time recently.
