Overheating of gun barrels.
« on: April 07, 2009, 10:49:21 PM »
Well i was thinking and most guns overheat and become less and less accurate if you fire them for to long in a short amount to time. I propose that in someone up like a P47 and just sprays everything with 1000 rounds to kill them, instead of nothing happening and him being able to kill him but to make his guns overheat and his guns become less and less accurate. This would be a good punishment for those who do spray and pray.

I don't think there are that many people who just spray and prey, and if you see one it's usually very easy to kill them.

Please add this right after the performance degrading for damage...additional drag when gear are missing and the gear bay is exposed... pilot strength starts to drop off with blood loss and controls get heavier and heavier... and props over run from overspeed... that would all be good.

Just saying...
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I don't think that many, if any, WWII fighters carried enough ammo to actually make this an issue.

I've heard interviews with a couple P51 sticks that warped the barrels due to 'buck fever' and holding down the trigger.

I'm trying to remember at least one name but I just can't recall even one right now.

I don't think HTC needs to be punishing terrible players.  :lol

Early C-Hogs especially ran into this problem before they added heaters.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

50 calibers as far as the m2 can handle more than you might think. Take one apart and you'll see its not built to break down unless its a bad extractor or firing pin breaks. Used to lay our barrels in tubs of gun oil before a good cleaning. They are not delicate.

If you see a sprayer, most likely he's a noob and most likely you should be able to turn around and kill him.

I do not feel this would add anything to the game except frustration for some.  I say no to this wish.

"I don't think there are that many people who just spray and prey, and if you see one it's usually very easy to kill them" If i see a La shooting from 600y for me that's spraying, if a see a p38 shooting somebody down from +800, that's a normal shot, tho it requires more rounds, so there are ppl who spray "clever", and ppl who spray retarded.
