It needs to be converted to a .bmp. That's a .png.

Most of the time you can simply rename the file to whatever suffix you want.

Right hand click on the pic and click rename (just above properties) to filename.bmp, hit enter. It will ask you if it is ok, as the file may become unstable. Hit yes and you are all set.

MS Paint saves files as bmp too.
But.. the circle around the dot is supposed to help you lead your target. this isn't a first person shooter where you just point and click.

IrfanView will also do the conversion quickly. It's a freeware program you can Google.

Actually in the case above.... The site is suppose to be used with an another bmp file. One is the site picture, the other is a "alpha" version of the same picture. What it does is over lays the two pictures allowing the color to show through determined by the alpha layer. So if the one above was used correctly, the "ring" around the dot would actually look light a dot with a haze around it like it was lite up on a HUD (heads Up Display)

That Dot 'O Death sight is the only sight I'll use.  Fighters, bomber guns, whatever, I love it!

I don't need/want any of those distarcting doo-dads around the dot...
