B-17G and other A/C
« on: April 10, 2009, 12:18:13 PM »
Seeing as how i like to fly the 17 as my main bomber. Wonder why...  :D

I'd love to see oxygen tanks added to the damage list. Something else we B-17 bomber pilots have to worry about. Plus put a time as to how much we have left in E6B, just like the fuel. I'd also like to see it implemented into other A/C.

Pretty much every aircraft had life support systems for high altitude flight.

I'd rather have the hydraulic systems modeled in the B-17, would make it even easier to shoot down than it already is.  All an attacking fighter would have to do is take out the #3 engine which powers the hydraulic systems.  B-17 wouldn't fly very well without hydraulics  ;)

One of the Lancaster's engines powered the electrical systems.  #4 I think, but I'd have to dig it out again to be sure.
