150/200 20mm rounds 109
« on: April 13, 2009, 09:38:17 AM »
after 150 shots being fired, 150 shells remain in the 109, if 200 rounds are being fired, 200 shells remain in the 109, that's 50 extra. 50 extra  empty shells, i see no modification in the weight of the 109.

The 151/20 round is ~190 grams, the projectile itself is ~100 grams. 50 spent casings (if I understand you right) is about 10lbs.  That's if the casings still had the charge in them, which they don't, so let's say roughly 1/2 the weight for argument's sake.  That'd be a difference of 5 lbs of empty casings between a 150-round 109 and a 200-round one.

You forgot to include what effect that has on total speed (oh the utter shame)     :D

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm not even sure what you're saying.  What exactly's amiss here?
