Tracers is a "load out" option.  If you're asking to turn on and off tracers in the middle of a sortie, that shouldn't happen.

Customizable everything, tracers, stick settings, etc., for each plane and vehicle would be nice also but more than likely un-doable.

Let's imagine a huge, bloated program, that takes a week to download, with all the options to save us a keystroke or a few seconds from what is possible to do already but we wish we didn't have to be bothered with because "it takes aaall that 'extra' effort".

nope not saying that, just wish i could hit a key before upping to switch the tracers on or off depending on if I'm in a plane or GV

It takes 3(?) mouse strokes now.  And you always forget to do it when you wanted to/

I agree it's a PITA the way it is now but it is doable.

What you should really want is the ability to save tracer options per plane like head positions and what not.

Or maybe not.

Either way, it's just one of those things you need to "remember" to do when you want to do it, then remember to undo what you just did afterwards.

Or you could have them off for Mode 1, and on for mode 2 or something like in that neighborhood would do me.
