Hello everyone,
Today I have an interesting problem. I just installed a PC Power & Cooling 750W PSU in the family computer. Yes, the PSU was intended for a future build, but I figured it would be better to save money by not blowing the family computer which was running on a miracle-PSU (A 350W supplying more than it should). Well, the problem is that the computer was made by HP.... Space is almost nowhere. I managed to squeeze in the PSU just fine, however now I can't insert the DVD drive as the power cable won't fit without the drive sticking out the front of the system some 1 inch or so which means we have to leave off the front cover of the computer.
This is where I thought, "Hmm... I know I've seen a molex power cable in a Dell computer that wasn't constructed like the typical molex power cable." Let me try to explain how it was constructed, or better yet, draw a small picture of how it was constructed. Please note, it was not a SATA power cable that I saw, it was a molex cable. The cable looked similar to this:

A regular molex cable looks similar to this (in my eyes):

Power-Cable
Once again, it's the idea of what it looks like, not a replica of what it looks like. As you can see, the one I'm thinking of feeds power from below allowing for more space behind the component receiving the power while the standard molex power cable is a space-hog.
Does anyone know the name of the power-cable I'm thinking of or where I could buy one?
No, I'm certain I did not see a SATA power cable! The dell was too old to use SATA. I know because I was tuning it as a favor for a neighbor.
