25-30K is unreal heights?  My understanding is that 25k or higher was the optimal ceiling for B 17s. But im sure someone will rip into me about this

41k is the service ceiling of the B-17.

fend off swarms of enemies with inadequte weaponry, or are barley able to destroy a hanger. So we would like either a bomber with a larger bomb load to make the deaths worth while or for you to up grade the defensive aromrment of the Lancaster.

Geeez I don't even attack Bombers anymore it's almost a death sentence because some of these guys have gotten so good in the guns. And he wants to upgrade!!!!

He wouldn't be complaining if he didn't suck at gunning. That's one "bomber pilot" who will get killed easily.

Nemisis, I don't think its got anything to do with the bombers we have in the game.  I think its just you.
      I fly B-24s more than any other bird in the MA and I can honestly say that in a liberator, I have never been shot down while above 20k.  Though I've had plenty try, the guns are more than sufficient to take down the occasional interceptor and even after sustaining significant damage in some cases, I always make it to my target, roll my bombs off and return home every time.

All very capable medium bombers that would be useful in the MA and not hangar queens.
