Friday in the DA
« on: April 17, 2009, 11:29:20 PM »
I like to go to the DA usually to show myself I don't suck, and have some friendly fights in furball form.

Tonight was chaos. I went into the DA and noticed a lot of people in there, and thought nothing of it. I go in there and notice the typical whines about the DA. The bish and nits ganged up on the rooks (to take it off topic for a few seconds, why do people hate the rooks so much? They are probably the least dweebish country in the game IMHO because I've been on all three sides. Nits are just pathetic, bish might as well be called "the collective" but rooks seem to be well rounded), The field was being vulched (or attempted but failing miserably), and I even saw some AR234s trying to bomb the field. And lets not forget the hoarding, but of course there is going to be hoarding, that's the point of furball lake.

What really got me steamed though, was that some one was kind enough to help me finish the F4U I just removed the left wing and tail section from, thus stealing my valuable kill. Why oh why would any one do that? Wow, I feel better already, but my point still stands, Friday DA is not that fun.

I don't know who's worse.
The guy who tried to "steal" your kill, or you for whining the kill is even worth "stealing" in the DA.

Despite all the DA's shortcomings, I've never seen any vultching in there.

Possible?  Yes.  Seen it?  No.

So what, stop getting your butt's handed to you all,and you would do just fine, no fighter defence, field guns get taken down.

ords, what do you need those for? :D

seems like you're a rook, fishing.

The question is this......

Do you enjoy flying and shooting the Corsair, taking his wing off and removing him from the fight?

Or do you only derive enjoyment when you get credit for the kill in the buffer (which only you see BTW)?

If you derive enjoyment from the first then you enjoy the process. If the second is where the enjoyment is then you only enjoy the result. I would suggest concentrating on enjoyment of the process instead of only on the expected result.

When you don't enjoy the process but do enjoy the result, we call that a job or work. When you do it for the thrill of doing it it is called fun or recreation.

If Aces High is a job then I would suggest another form of entertainment.
