AvA Setups
« on: April 18, 2009, 08:26:56 PM »
The AvA arena is special in the fact that the player really has alot of say in what goes in as far as maps and planesets go...Post what you guys would like to see, and it will be run by the AvA Staff and Development Group.

Include:

Map you'd like to see
Planeset you'd like to go with the map

Would it be possible to get a thread like this stickied Skuzzy? (or whoever can sticky things)

FinRus map with the FinRus planeset!

Especially now that we'll be getting the Brewster!

Yay, now just get rid of the quad-hizooka Hurricane IIC, replace that with the IIA/B with 8-12 machine guns instead of Hispanoes. :pray

Now that I've opened the field with such hard requirements, it's easier for others to follow up with easier setups... right?

edit, get rid of the La-5FN, get the regular la-5 instead, the FN had a higher powered engine, they were rare... :devil

If I had any terrain making talent I would make a Stallingrad map with some little ferries going across the Volga and some nice city tank vs tank spawns. Since I don't I want someone else to make it and I want it MOEW!

TK, you know that the AvA staff doesn't do terrains (Soda excluded, who's trying hard), how about adapting that plan to a existing terrain?

Ready? .... ..... ... NOOOooooooooo!

Keep trying sir  :salute

Seriously, I am liking what I have been seeing.  Trying out new setups as anounced 2 hour events.  :aok  The best of both worlds.  Those who like the AvA the way it always has been  and those who like to see better numbers  :rock are able to see their wishes realized due to the efforts of our favorite CM staffers  :D

Panzzer heya, still the newlywed  :D :D

I would like to see you do one.  FSO needs a southeast Russian terrain.

You remember the old AH1 Stalingrad map?  Makes me cold just thinking about it.

Unfortunately no. Is there any chance you still have it laying around?
