well the laws are kind of tricky depending on where they caught them.

I'm not quite sure what the US is going to do with their captive pirate, I didn't think they were allowed to take him here for trial... Not quite sure the rules in international waters.

Maybe the dutch caught them in Somalie waters, in which case they technically can't take them.

not sure what the rules of the sea are anymore. i dont think it was to long ago that the captain of the ship that captured the pirates could put them on trial aboard his ship and promptly hang them after the trial. in international waters of coarse.

Did you know Holland is possibly the only country in the world in which the armed forces have a union with rules about how long a soldier can work in a day?
