Requesting Luft Pilots
« on: April 20, 2009, 06:29:14 PM »
Hello all.  :salute
I'm in the process of doing a write up if you will regarding the Fw190 Series. Any experienced Wurger pilots mind Pm'ing me? Looking for as much information from personal flight experience with the 190 of all models. Thank you.

Regards,

Your kidding, right? Let me get this straight... you want personal flying experiences from virtual peelots about an aircraft that is virtually modeled?

Storch???? where storch??? how about i leave some clues for the clueless.... storch is gone...except it, deal with it, live with it. We have to, you can too!!

as for the Fw190, its mean, its nasty, it takes hits well. if flown by a good virtual pilot, i will beat the pants off of almost anything. there are very few people who actually know how to handle the plane. the ones that do, do it with devastating affect. it can be a very turny plane, if you know what you're doing. I am not one of those people but i know a few that are. it has awesome acceleration, and can climb like a screaming banshee(just an expression, not directed to anyone in particular). its a fun plane to fly and hits hard. It has a problem with low and slow, in that it wants to snap-roll to the left. died many times doing this.

thats my opinion as a virtual pilot never having flown the real thing, but had alot of fun in the cartoon one!!

Go for it Talon. Others have done writeups on airplanes and they are among the most profitable training aids to read here in cartoon fighting world. I still look at Sodas writeups as a baseline and I have the work of others printed out that Ive read.

I dont fly 190s so I cant help. But I'll eagerly read what you can put together.

p.s. Dont let the most recent Elvis sighting put a wet blanket on your idea.  :salute
