Thou these aren't the best in there class they are my favorite.

Its not that im afraid to fly it in fighter mode, I just dont like how it flys. It has the most potent gun package out of the 190 series, but it feels like a brick if it has more than 50% fuel in it.

For the in game i would have to go with the Sherman the Tigers are too volunerable and can be taken down easily if you know certain tricks.

Ok guys I counted votes, according to you guys, the best fighter is the F4U followed by the Spitfire. The best attacker is a tie between the F4U and the mighty Jug followed by the P38. The best bomber is the B17 by far. thanks for voting, remember this is all up to you.
As a note, I didn't list model only the plane, there were too many for me to figure out. thank you guys.

Ok 999000 you didn't  understand what i posted or didn't this topic all the way through, (I usually do unless I am in the top 7 people as they usually reply to the originol post. I do so I can get what the conversation is about.). I wouldn't bombers as fighters, or the B17 as an attacker. I problably wouldnt say bombers really have any offensive fire power as a fighter, I probably could have worded that better, only deffensive as you can't go in after somebody, they must come to you. While I respect your oppinion, I would like you to write again and tell me what is your fav fighter and attacker please. And don't salute yourself please, it makes you sound shallow and self absorbed in my oppinion

I have film of a B-24 duel (7 vs 7) and an NOE B-17 fighter sweep containing about 25 single B-17's w/ a gunner each.    I have many times rolled a 26 and successfully fought Fighters in loops, turns, rolls, etc.   I never said it was easy, but has been done.

Before you insult 999000, you might want to understand that he flies the B-17 in here.   So ask yourself, knowing this, who is "shallow"?
