What is the most credit hr you took in a semester?   22 was the highest for me in one semester.

18 is max for me, but that was with an honors class, chinese, american foreign policy, Macro economics, forensics and geography.

21, my current semester, the reason I am not flying right now, 21 units, American History, Calc 2, Calc Dif EQ, Engr 95 History of Aviation, Kin 105 Advanced Scuba, English 1b composition, Geologym4 Planetary Pystems, Comm 100w Advanced Debate

At San Jose State 12 units is fulltime and 18 is full load, I had to get a waiver for more than that because im and Engr student, its terrible, I have to work hard to find time to just relax, I HAVE TO WORK TO RELAX! ugh FML

Oh yea, i was part time job, full time track scholarship, and wife and w one kid.

what killed me was 21 year olds taking 9 credits, without jobs ( rich parents ) complaining that between school and their shrink they don't have time to study :D

My most was 18 hours + full time job + volunteer work + life in general.

When I was in graduate school, they only let us take 15 hours...

I took 21 hours my last three semesters so I could get my degree in 4 years. (most guys in engineering went 5 years) Was basically running out of money. Not fun.

I remember the four stages of college:

Freshman: Wide-eyed and clueless
Sophomore: One big drunken blur
Junior: Not enough hours in the day to get everything done
Senior: Exhausted, nearly beaten down, and just plain ready to leave

I have uni, work or both every day of the week. Fridays really suck... Uni in the morning, work (outside) until 9pm, home and homework until bed.

I'm doing a double major in philosophy and sociology.

Arts has little to do with a specific career for me.

Taking steps to train yourself as a thinker, writer and communicator is a set of skills that not enough people have these days.

It's a long-winded and expensive way to do it but it is a set of skills that you can take to any job.

While we're on the subject, though, I always preferred this joke:
