P-47s on a carrier? No freakin way!

To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

Those aren't N's.  Probably D-12s as I think I see bomb shackles on the wings.  Although ferried, they still were catapulted off the deck and flew off.  Once.

To turn a phrase from "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane,"

Taking off from a CV in a P-39 is like masturbating with a cheese grater: interesting at first, but ultimately painful.

Your thinking of the P-400. The P-400 were British P-39s that were equipped with the 20mm Hizooka, but were returned to the U.S. because they didn't have a supercharge for the Hi-alt performance an ETO fighter needed. The U.S. decided to keep the 20mm and send them to the Pacific where they fought over Guadalcanal. Some, however, did end up in the hands of the Russians.

Why is it so important?  Been that way for awhile.  Is the p-39 so uber it's disrupting the game?  Maybe they should enable the P-47 only if you take full fuel rockets and bombs from the CV....that would be funny.
I could do it  :P

The B-29 is a handfull off the deck of the CV when loaded with a Little Boy.

Remember alt-c to enable the catapult, and make sure you have the jato selected in the hangar.
