Way tired of it.

How can so many things be "uber" in one sim? Ridiculous concept, as uber is a comparative term- uber compared to what if everything is uber?

Not much rationalization on the topics either. Whoever coined the term "applied realism" hit it right on the head. We all want our personal version of realism, and there is apparently a wide variety of flavors. I used to care one way or another, but I am so weary of it I say "fly the damn things, and ignore the chorus!"

Simplify, simplify, simplify. You're either having fun or you're not.

I like what I have. I look forward to what comes next. It's too bad that, even when the "dream ride" of many is included on a "to-do" list, the whining begins without any hands-on knowledge. What model, will it have this or that included, it would be better if it was this model.... blech.

Think when my schedule relaxes I am going to pull a tour in the 202, just to see if I can manage a 1:1 in it. If I stay away from buffs I should manage just fine...

My question is will it be as much flown as the D-hog . It probably will be a very tough plane but won't have cannons.

I hope the addicts will stick to it no matter what.

Bug,

There will be 6 cannon birds in the PAC unless all  planes are allowed in. They will be the spit, chog, yak (after VE day when USSR declared on Japan), zeke, P38 and nik1. They were all present in RL so they are eligible for inclusion in the PAC theater. The rest of the US iron was there including the 51. I expect the cannon planes will still be the ride of choice. When it comes down to it, cannon pings do more than mg pings.

As far as I know there were no LW planes present for combat.

Gads what will the luftwaffles do if the arena is limited to historical planes?????

Amen brother JimBear.

Finally I'll have a respectable furball ride for those times when my Jug just won't be the best choice.

People that complain about uberness do not have  the pilot skill to counter an uber plane.  Nuff said.

I don't have the pilot skill to counter ANY plane, so uhmmm, does that make me a "target"?

Hamish!

EDIT: P.S. Can't Wait to fly that Hellcat from a CV, and get shot up by some Zekes over Luzon
