any 38 squads recruiting?
« on: April 27, 2009, 07:26:55 AM »
I'm going to park the mustang in the hanger and fly only the 38s starting may 1st for a year. I'd like to find a small squad or knowledgable wingman. I'm not into base taking or going for rank. I just want to dog-fight and part time jabo. I'll only get into GVs as a last resort. :)

Why limit yourself to only 1 plane?

80th.

You rang?

The 38 squadrons I know of (39th, 475th, 80th) are all smaller, tight knit groups. Is that okay with you?  I can't speak for the others but the 80th has a lot of members MIA due to RL stuff so you'll have a hard time finding our members to fly with. Your best bet is to tune 138 and see who's on. Good luck and enjoy the 38!

Hey that's cool I not playing as much as I'd like to as warm weather is here and I have alot of work to do. I was thinking about kind of going it alone for quite a bit until I get a go feel for it. But having one or two on once in awhile to fly with would be fun. :salute

If its the best plane ( which the 38 is) why not.
When I die bury me in a P38.

I watch day after day, week after week, tour after tour, the Bishops and Rooks take bases and win maps while the Knights stand there with their thumbs stuck in their butts. It's just pathetic!

So get your 38 back in th game AKAK.  Crims was up with the SAPP guys last night and that NMF 479th skin sure looks good :)

We actually formed up on Crims last night too if you can believe that!  He's the bird out front in the silver 479th skin.

Been thinking about it but would probably remain squadless.
