In the end, the winner is decided by the movie industry. Bluray won because it was perceived by Hollywood to be more secure. No matter how good a format is, if the studios do not get behind it, it will fail.
<<<< still buys DVDs. No reason what so ever to get bluray.
I have my projectors, home theater amps etc. collecting dust I havent opened them for 5 years. Dunno even if they work anymore.I'm either in front of a computer (playing or reading the news) ...
Why don't you hook up that home theater system to your computer. Playing games on a 106 inch screen with surround sound while sitting comfortably in a lazyboy is noting short of awesome.Thrust me.
Build yourself a basement "theater" with sound insulation. Invite your wife and kids down once in a while for a movie with snacks and pizza and they'll thank you for it.
And I have no time. Too much work.
I'll never support Bluray. Maybe I should say, I will not support being treated like a criminal.
