CV damage
« on: April 29, 2009, 11:35:18 AM »
How about more types of CV damage..   I.E. damaged arresting wires, reduced speed, listing to one side or another... maybe an oil slick   you get the idea..   think it would add to the immersion factor..

Maybe somehow. Would be nice to see it "sink" and give pilots the opportunity to crash land real quick. Not just "CV's on fire" "CV's dead"..."CV's Sinking!"

Landing on a sinking CV?  That's seems...  Well...  Wrong...

Kind of like a last-ditch effort to live...at least in this game.

Well, they update the CV's, but with the new graphics engine maybe something is in store.

to take it a step further, have it so that when a CV takes damage, it can be repaired in some way..  dropping CV supplies from a goon or something..  I.E. the cv takess damage and starts to list.. if left alone it will eventually capsize, but if x number of goons drop CV supplies, "damage control" will repair the damage and the boat will survive.

trying to sneak a goon in to resupply the fleet during combat would probably be a pretty hair raising ride..

The CV repairs itself on its own but it would be nice it speed it up a little.
