As long as I have been involved with Aces High, I have known Eagle who was a mentor in both the game and learning about PCs to me. I am sincerely grief sticken, to early this morn learn of his passing. I never had any idea he was a real aviator, US Navy no less, I am awe struck by that info. Eagle, the only name I ever knew him by, was very modest yet so deliberate. I will miss him greatly and can still hear that distinct sound of his voice over the vox. The game will never be the same without Eagle. I know the guys in the 327th and AH do not see me much of me these days, since having to start a new career that keeps me away from home most of the time, but AH has been one of the best experiences in my life of which Eagle was always considered by me to be a man of great integrity and conviction, even in a game. Please excuse me for rambling on while I absorb this terrible news. I guess I just figured Eagle would always be here and had no idea he was 78 years old. It is with great sadness over Eagle's passing I will head back out on the road and will think of Eagle whenever I see an eagle or hawk flying.
Goodbye my friend, Eagle, SALUTE, I will never forget you.
