Howdo Folks

I know HTC is busy with the naval aspect of AH as well as few new airplanes. I salute those guys!!!

I have a few IMHO's:

1.  We need a few more attack aircraft, one that comes to mind is a A26, mossie, maybe BF110.  <sigh> give the brits their mossie

2.  We need the ability to track STRAT stats to be able to figure the overall progress of a Tour.

O well, quess thats only 2

Thanks,

LaVa

How can you mention attack aircraft and forget Il-2, the most produced and most important attack aircraft!!!

Give us the mossie first - then the Il-2.

Id love to see a lot more twin engined AC up. The LW had the best assortment of twin engine AC during WWII.. The list is endless. Allies also had a few twins that would have there place here.

As a matter of fact, i will be posting a Twin list by the weekend. Any i miss the rest of the boys can add.

BTW Lava, great fights today

Dog out...

Or the "Black Cats" ? Australian markings would be # 2 for me, but before any other than the "attack bomber" PBY's.

Wow thats one hellva throttle getup!

holy SMOKE

the il-2 would be a nice addition, however i think a mossie or a26 would be more useful---but i dont know much about the il-2's loadout.  O yes..would be a great tank buster indeed.

a26 does 350 mph and carries 6-10 .50's on the front, not to mention 4,000lbs on the  rocks<ithink>.  Mossie does 427mph? carries 2,000-4,000  with 20mms i cant remember.  Wonder if mossie carried torps?

BTW, if you see a typoon ask for a couple a nails so that they may seal your coffin.---------Good fights WARDOG

I need a good book on luftwaffle planes any suggestions?

where are all the bombers...man anyone fly em anymore <sigh> STRAT system needs to be more inviting.

LaVa, the best book I have seen on Luftwaffe planes is William Green's "Warplanes of the Third Reich".  It has some errors here and there but it is the closest thing you will find to an encyclopedia on German WW2 aircraft.  It's not in print, but you can get a used copy from www.abebooks.com

Two can play at that game... If we're going to have converted airliners, how about the sturdy Fw 200 then?
