This is the second post I have seen of Hitech some what threating to get rid of some players. I wonder what is up with him. Got me thinking about leaving the game. I know that isn't a big deal b/c there are many other players that will stay and pay Hitech bills. Just dont' think it is right for him to threaten ppl that their account will pretty much be cancelled just b/c he doesn't like their opinions. That is kinda like the kid who says play the game how I want or I am gonna take my ball and go home lol.

The cap is what it is.  Probably not the best algorythm so, someone else come up with one better or give up on the discussion.  It's annoying when you see 300 people online and a 200 cap, all you can do is wait.

Other games have many servers where people ONLY play, and thus - they have to wait to get in.  sucks, I know but ah2 is one game that I waited the least to get in.

On another point _ if HiTech would upgrade his servers and connection, I'd be much happier with him  

Bottom line - the cap is there to dance the fine line of balancing the players out so as not to have serious server lag on one server and a bunch of guys flying around without any battle on another.

You can't please all of the people all of the time - don't take it personal HiTech.

HiTech owns this BBS and game, lets say you shop at a grocery store, you spend your weekly 200$ on groceries and then one day all of a sudden you see the manager get a little upset with an angry customer and he tells the customer to get lost, you go up to him and tell him that he is just a big bully and everyone should have a voice without being kicked. Well you see its his store and he can do anything he damn well pleases to make sure his store is a friendly environment to all and if that means getting rid of a few bad eggs then so be it, and wether or not you shop there, at the end of the week your 200$ is a drop in the bucket compared to the 500,000$ brought in daily.

Better yet, you walk into someones house and you start yelling and screaming and telling them how bad of parents they are for punishing their kids, and you expect them not to throw you out of their house? key word THEIR...HiTech owns this buisness and you telling him how to treat his customers is a bad, bad, idea.

Whatever gave you the impression that this game or forum is public?  Who do you think pays for it?  Your taxes?  The government runs this bbs?

Are you even aware of the difference between "public" and "private"?

Allow me to clear it up.  HiTech corp. owns this game, as they own this forum.  It is theirs.  They own it much like you own a house and as such this forum and game are PRIVATELY owned.

There is no such thing as free speech on a private forum (such as this one) or a game (such as this one) and we are all here only because HiTech allows us to post here and pay him to play his privately owned game.

This IS HiTechs "house" for all intents and purposes.  The analogy of talking smack to someone in their own house is exactly what is going on here.  Dales reaction to being called a liar is to be expected.  He is a HECK of a lot more tolerant that I would be were the roles reversed.

These people are trying to spread lies that could be detrimental to HTC business. Yes I believe he has the right to kick them both out of the game.

Actually, what HT does is entertain their assertions to demonstrate how they're wrong, tell them they're wrong, ask them to recant, and when they still insist on intoxicating the rest of the customers with lies, tell them they've got one last chance to admit they're wrong before they get ejected.  Seems pretty comprehensive to me.

Wow... just... wow. I'm amazed that people who appear completely clueless about most aspects of the game will insist on arguing with the developers about technical aspects of the servers.

Well, the forums wouldn't suffer in the least with some of you gone. Here's hoping for change...
