Anyone use a spreadsheet or word program for the iphone? Where would I get a really cheap one if available?

Curious.  Does the iphone have an application to connect to another phone (iphone) and then transmit an address from one address book to the other phone's address book?

I am trying to figure out why my blackberry doesn't have this function.  I go to alot of conferences and it would be handy to simply transmit my business card and receive other people's without having to deal with the actual business card.

How tough can it be?

I know you can email it in .vcf format, but to work well and easily an app would be extremely handy.

Yes there is an app that allows you to send contacts to another iphone simply by holding them both and tapping them together. Both iphones need the app however.

The words 'spread' 'sheet' and 'tapping together' probably violates Apple application rules and will promptly be banned from the service.

There are some BUT they suck! I have tried them on an iPhone since we are trying to decide between the iPhone and the Blackberry Curve for our usage. Both "smartphones" are crappy for trying to do anything other than just carry the spreadsheet around to be able to pass it over to a client or to have until you get to a REAL computer to use the document. With the various iPhone apps you have to use the finger zoom in order to get to the few cells that you might want to edit and then you have to resize and move again to make sure that you get the right formula worked in....in other words it is a PITA and not worth the effort or the money IMO to make it work.

I looked up some apps and they didn't get rave reviews. Thanks for the info.

lol Sorry didn't mean to come across like that. They are all still useful.

My newest phone is not considered a "smart phone". It does have a touch screen qwerty kb, can receive RSS feeds, 8 MP camera with smile detection and blink detection, can send pictures directly to my account at photobucket. It also has the local weather right on screen with 3 day forecast. The GPS is nice, if I am driving I can press a button and speak the addy and it is sent to my phone with turn by turn voice and map.... it also checks the traffic. I can access the internet and it also checks my email accounts. When your reading or looking at pictures on it you can either scroll with your finger or just tilt the phone to scroll. Also has a very nice converter to convert area, volume, temperature, currency, or length. Plus many many more items.

Not sure about all of it. I have gps and the phone flips the pictures to the correct angle. Which I found fascinating. Only 2 mp phone though. Still much much better than the 1.3 I had. I particularly like gathering up my emails so easily. Further it is sooooooooooooooo easy to use. Not that I have everything figured out.
