I actually know several well known aviation artists, historians and writers on facebook, as well as several pilots- including well know aerobatic ones.

Our squadron has a facebook site also, which has been great.  Some of the stuff on facebook is annoying (all that quiz & picture stuff esp.), but Treize is right. It is what you make of it.

I don't talk to one of my brothers on the phone, but our contact with one another has increased through facebook. That alone is worth it for me. :aok

I haven't made the plunge into facebook.  The wife and many people I know are on it.  I just have a problem of people I don't want to find me.....to find me!  So I guess I'll just have to stick to the BBS.  But it's nice to see the AH community branching out. :aok

Facebook is really great especially for someone like me who is away from family, I like to check updates atleast once a day, also I got some new friends from the Aces High group acouple of which are making me OWN in Mafia Wars :D bunch of wise guys :salute
