There's a pretty funny thing on Facebook that BMathis showed me, if you go to the bottom of the page and click on the "English" then select "English(Pirate)" it's hilarious, it turns all the writing into pirate speak.

I've found a lot of old friends from high school that I lost contact with & probably never would have been able to find without Facebook or MySpace, so I think there a great thing.

Like TM said, it's how you use it...
To some, its more like FaceCrack...  They are signed in 24/7, shoot bothersome PM's to people they hardly know just to say "HI"..
What really gets me is the constant updating I get in my Email account...  I haven't been on long so I haven't figured out
how to block any of the annoying/useless updates like "Joe has picked his anus for the 10th time today"..

I use it mainly for work (it's sort of mandatory), to keep in contact with relatives and old friends, and for networking..
In my line of work, networking is a great thing..  You never know what kinds of opportunities will arise..

It's much better than Myspace..  Again, it's all how you use..  And twitter is gay...  I can't believe some worthless,
limp wristed, pencil necks actually charge people to read their whining/commentary!  What I find more shocking is where
people actually PAY to read the BS on Twitter!  And who the Frack makes up a name like Twitter????? :rofl

Wow, I had no idea that people actually payed money for that, I mean I've heard of twitter and kinda know what it is, but I had no idea people where actually paying money to know what shirt Ashton Kutcher is thinking of wearing right now.

Dude, there are people who make their living on Twitter....  No joke......
Anyone who has an ounce of testosterone left should be embarrassed at the thought of even
subscribing to twitter.

Really bums me.  I have known for decades there are a huge number of twits on the Internet.

It just never occurred to me to create a service for them.

And that they would actually sign up for it!  DOH!

Back when I was a kid you had to wash your hands after you twittered.

*after you made your friends smell your fingers.
