Victory day
« on: May 08, 2009, 06:33:56 AM »
On the seventh of may in 1945 the Germans signed for the surrender, ending the war in Europe. Today, is the day for the western nations, tomorrow for the eastern. Anyway, sixty-four years it has been.

It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
