It does not have to be noobs doing it. The game was designed to be fun and for me and my squad that includes doing stuff for a laugh and sometimes shooting at each other is good for a laugh. Love how someone can take a thread lilke this and turn it into a why can't you play the game the way I do.

Well ace pilot, it is distracting to people that are trying to play the games as it was designed to all of a sudden have tank rounds landing around you
or tracers whizzing by. You don't know if they are legit or some ace pilot trying to be funny.

I never told you or anyone how to play the game I just said people/noobs not wanting to play as it was designed to play are another reason for
decline in the  of the game. Or a person is  on a CV and some tard is just shooting randomly at anything they see in the sky. If you want to have fun then yes
 take off killshooter so I can kill people like you.

I'd like to see a check box in the hangar to turn off killshooter for that mission.  Every friendly plane you shoot would cost you something like 500 perkies, but it would be nice for teaching a lesson to kill stealing putzes.

I find it annoying till I figure out whos doing this noobish stuff. Then its pretty funny.  Calm down, if some friendly is shooting at with the man gun. Maybe it means he likes you. So ask him out for some coffee or something flyer!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why we have killshooter in the first place.

I like the idea though.  You just got it backwards.  Turning killshooter off should leave you vulnerable to friendly fire.

I think someone in a man gun shooting at friendlies is the least of the problems concerning playing the game the way it wasn't designed too. For instance snap rolling Bostons, dive bombing lancs that pull out to pull an immelmen without losing drones. Dogfighting Il-2 and other light bombers. And if your taking off from a field that's being attacked I don't people in the guns are aiming at friendlies so there is no reason to confuse the tracers and hits.

Its good and bad. Good to keep tards from killing friendly but bad because when a greedy friendly gets in the way you cant stop your bullets that are in the air.

I think that KS should only go into effect after the first ten rounds. Before that the bullets should do no damage but after that make it do damage to the shooter. This way it will still stop the friendly killers but will cut down on the killshoter mistakes.

This must be the noob hang out, friendlies shooting friendlies,dropping bombs on friendlies, bored players
some one shooting friendlies with quad 40s, no wonder that game is going to hell in a hand basket. To many clueless
people/noobs that don't seem to want to play the games as it is designed to be played.

well rvflyer I only do it to people that I know and it is mostly squaddies. those people usually find it every bit as funny as I do. but i guess if you want to blame me for decline of game then so be it.

The only time you will see me fire rounds at a friendly that I don't know is when I am not sure if he is friendly because his icon is hidden by trees.

even this game needs something to laugh at once in a while
