Dred what i do sometimes to get out of a slump is go sit and watch tv and forget about plane game for a couple of hours or a day. Then i always get the urge to come back and fly the 38 and i do good agian and it brings me out of the slump

I don't know about "month" but I'm certainly having a lousy few days after about 3 days off.  None of my rounds connect with anything.  In frustration I shoot the entire spectrum from tail to nose to lead, wasting ammo, never any sparks.  And last night I fought an A-5 that had a tighter turn radius than a zero, better climb rate and acceleration than my 109.  Literally, this guy's nose was facing me the entire way through my turn like he was an F-22 with vector thrust.  I literally let go of my stick and just watched in disbelief.

When it rains it pours.  Seriously, I couldn't write some of the things that have been happening to me lately if I was Tom Clancy.

The plane not doing its thing, could also be a spiking joystick you may want to recalibrate it. Happened to me.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Dred I went through a tuff streak myself not too long ago, one thing I realized is the country environment makes allot of difference, If Rook were getting rolled my sorties didn't end very well even when I thought I used good SA, So the situation may not be You just having a tuff run, it may be elements beyond your control.  :)

Some of that maybe. But It's not beyond the norm for me to be outnumbered.
Though sometimes lately I am wondering if someone placed a neon sign over my icon saying its me. LOL I've seen a few planes seemingly break off fights to come after my plane specifically.

No. My flying is off, my reaction is off. Everything seems to be off.

Killer part two is the first two days of this tour I thought the slump was over. I was flying almost Godlike. It was like I could do no wrong.
Now I can do no right. and when I have the last couple days...I've augered.

Maybe Hitech stashed a few bricks in my plane LOL

Up a Tippie! Thats my slump buster! :aok

I always fall back on the Ki84 when I am slumping...  Although, been slumping a bit so far this tour, but I've been putting a lot of time in on the 109G2 in preparation for this months FSO.
