This is how it's done. I'd hate to be the only bishie to not get an invitation.  :D

Here is a screen shot from the film. A lone surviving 190 A5 (out of cannon ammo) vs 32 bishies. I think I can get most of 'em.  :D

Another 23 seconds.  :)

There were tons of gvs threatening the base. Bombers and jabos as well. This was before the horde spewed out of their borg cube. I got there about 7 or 8 minutes ahead of them. Killed a 51 and a typh but wasted most of my cannon rounds strafing M3s (plenty of M3 assists in this sortie ). I had sensory overload as far as SA goes. They were threatening the base with just the GVs and a few aircraft. A half dozen P-47s would have been enough to down the hangars and a few tanks, pretty much guaranteeing the capture.

Cool picture, that was my mission last night.  Was able to assemble about 15 P47'n and 8 Spits for cover and two or three goon drivers.

In the mission the spits took off first and took to a ceiling of 13k, they were to go in first and push down any opposition to clear way for the P47's.  They had two rockets and pending organized resistance, would either dump them or take a field ack or two down.  The spits were organized into flights of two, A through D.  The first flight to take the first con, etc.. To ensure not all spits attacked first con sighted.

The P47's climbed to 11k and were about 5 mins behind the spits.  Each hanger was assigned to a pilot to take down.  Those w/o assignments were to stay high and pick up any misses or place ord on town or gv's if any were out.

Bish saw the dar bar coming for a considerable amount of time and upped alot of fighters to counter.  It was a pretty good fight but eventually the base fell. :rock

Na, the first screenie is from Caldera showing a different battle at vbase.  The second screenie from 'AH Vet' is my mission, it was to a small airfield.

Nice!  This type of performance could get you into the Secret Brotherhood of Horde Busters.  Next time  get away.  Don't give the slight satisfaction of killing you.  Escaping... the horde with pelts, some measure of revenge.

The Knits have their own hordes too!  Of course these base vulches are the only way most of them can get kills...
