Is a 9 minute (8:45) too long for an AH video?

Edit: it's got a 1 minute intro and outro that I'll be using to my advantage, so about 7 minutes more or less.

It depends. Are you keeping the audience involved? Is this movie a story you're trying to tell? Are you keeping the audience entertained enough to prevent them from thinking, "This is too long"?

If you venture past 5:00 minutes, you have to keep the action coming.

Well I stopped making movies but I've got a song (war song, goes good with AH) that I'd like to use, but I'm not that much of a movie guy to actually keep it going like you are saying...Sure i can have enough film but I don't know if I can keep it interesting...I'll be using Sony Vegas to edit the movie.
