I think the trees have better textures...at least they looked different (?) in that fps-test-thingie...

  Download the gtester and check it out. Some cool looks to the water and airfield. Night with the stars is cool and I'd like to see some night fights in the game but with the test program it's too dark to see anything. Maybe adjusting brightness would help.  :aok

RCAF Mosquitos were in fact scrambled to intercept and shoot-down Venus during the Japanese fire-balloon scare.
