manual tank loadout
« on: May 14, 2009, 10:26:15 PM »
it would be nice instead of having preselected loadouts being able to customize them to your own likings. im a HP/ HVAP guy, but i preferred the HVAP since i like to get close. i mainly use the T-34/85 so the max HVAP i get is 20 i believe (havent been on for a week so cant remember). i would like to be able to take say 20 ap and 40hvap. or maybe if im going to a base which i want to take things down, i could customize it so i had 6 HE 35 HVAP and 19AP, etc...

just would be a very nice feature

I'm not a tanker, but I think the load outs are supposed to accurately represent what the load outs were for the historic armor that carried it.

 HVAP was also rare ammo.

What would be nice is to set the default ammo for the main gun.... I would rather have ap for the default... and HE the secondary.

AP is default for everything but the M-8 I believe.

I wish whatever was loaded last time you went to "2" stayed there instead of going back to default when you switch out of the turret and back in.

I believe the HVAP rounds are LESS effective at long rang. This is due to high aerodynamic losses on a lightweight projectile.
