That when i collide with another plane i don't get a pilot wound.

More than likely you didn't get a pilot wound when you collided.  You got a pilot wound when the other plane shot you during the HO while you were colliding.

It could have still been ammunition. I was running an offline mission with killshooter disabled. When I shot one of the planes just in front of me the rounds damaged my plane. Possibly you shot the plane that crashed into you and that round injured the pilot.
