Thought that there was 'little' increase in climbing since 0.47....

In previous version it barely climbed 500fpm with 50% fuel on take-off and 500lb load at 23k... now it climbs 1000fpm with same settings..

Now thats for sure, it can't have THAT high ceiling (wow.. thats more than my 109 or 190 has.. err.. how many planes even has that high ceiling, for a fighter, which is supposed to climb higher than buff?)

Boy, I hope you're joking.... we don't need another sub-orbital vehicle.

I only stopped at 42k because the ottopilot starts bouncing the plane around at that altitude, I could have gone higher by climbing manually but I didn't bother.

Btw - with 25% fuel and a light bombload, the B-26B will outclimb a Fw190A-8 with 100% fuel from 10,000ft up.

Whow...I read that the B26 was supposed to be a "HOT" plane but I never guessed it was that hot!!!

Sounds like some more tweaking of the FM is in order.

21K is the published operational ceiling. I think (like the B17) the reason we see these high ceilings is because the engine doesn't break down by being run at 100% continuously. Don't know how to fix that...

I was 28K last night and, coupled with its speed, was virtually beyond interception. I was 350 TAS! A pony or G10 might have caught me if they were positioned right or if I turned, but otherwise I would not get caught.
